This Privacy Policy explains how Lake Dress (the "Application" or "Service") handles information when You use Our mobile app. We designed the Application to work primarily on Your Device, with a focus on local alpine journaling, nature discovery, and ranger gameplay.

Alpine journal. Lake Dress is a mobile experience for collecting landscape postcards, discovering nature facts, completing eco missions, and playing a bear-ranger fishing mini-game across mountain lakes, pine forests, and snowy peaks. Ranger profile, journal entries, guide progress, missions, and fishing scores are intended to stay on Your Device unless You choose to contact Us by email.
Application means Lake Dress, the software program provided by Us.
Company ("We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Lake Dress.
Country refers to: United Kingdom.
Device means any device that can access the Service (for example a smartphone or tablet).
You means the individual using the Service, or the legal entity on whose behalf that individual uses the Service, as applicable.
Lake Dress does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers operated by Us. Your ranger name, portrait, postcards, favorites, guide notes, learned and bookmarked facts, eco missions, mission streak, earned badges, fishing bests, caught species, unlocked levels, achievements, settings, and similar app data are stored locally on Your Device.
We do not require an account to play. We do not routinely transmit Your local journal data to Us as part of normal use.
We do not collect:
Photo Library (optional): If You choose a ranger profile portrait from Your library, the Application may request access to Your photo library. Photos are used only when You select an image. We do not upload Your photos to Our servers.
Camera (optional): If You choose to take a new ranger portrait, the Application may request access to Your camera. Photos are captured only when You take a picture and are stored locally on Your Device.
Lake Dress does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or push-notification SDKs. We do not sell or share Your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
The Application may open standard iOS surfaces such as the system share sheet when You choose those actions. Those services are governed by Apple's policies.
You may reset progress from the Ranger Cabin, which clears postcards, guide notes, missions, badges, and fishing records while keeping Your ranger profile. If You contact Us by email, We will use the information You provide only to respond to that request.
Data stored on Your Device is protected by Your device's operating system and any security features You enable. No method of electronic storage is completely secure; We encourage You to keep Your Device updated and protected.
Our Service is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Application. If You believe a child has contacted Us inappropriately, please reach out and We will take appropriate steps.
The Application or Our communications may occasionally reference external websites operated by third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy in the Application or on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
